A Little Life Update… and a Fresh Way to Enjoy Our In Bloom Tea!

It’s hard to believe it’s been five months since our last blog post.

To our beautiful Wild Alchemy community — thank you for still being here.

Life behind the scenes has been very full lately, and while we may have gone a little quiet online, the apothecary has still been humming along every day: blending, pouring, packing orders, answering messages, and tending to all the moving pieces of this little mama-run business.

One of the biggest reasons for the quiet season is that our family is preparing to welcome our fourth baby this July — something we are deeply grateful and very excited for.

Needless to say, between pregnancy, motherhood, family life, and running Wild Alchemy Botanicals, priorities have needed to shift a little this season. While I had hoped to share more here over the past months, the reality is that life has simply asked for more presence offline.

That said, Wild Alchemy has never stopped moving behind the scenes, and I’m endlessly grateful to all of our faithful customers who continue to support this work, order after order, season after season.

And fittingly, today felt like the perfect time to share a little update inspired by one of the blends that has been accompanying me through this entire pregnancy:

In Bloom Nutritive Pregnancy Tea

I’m actually sipping a cup as I write this.

I’ve been drinking In Bloom since the very early days of this pregnancy. It has become such a grounding daily ritual — nourishing, mineral-rich, comforting, and deeply supportive through the many phases of growing a baby.

But truthfully?

After nearly seven months of drinking the same tea every single day… I was starting to get just a little bored.

So recently we decided to experiment and turn it into an iced tea — and honestly, it completely brought it back to life.

We simply brewed a strong batch, chilled it, and added fresh lemon and a touch of honey.

And wow. Just wow.

It suddenly became the most refreshing, nourishing herbal iced tea.

The whole family is now drinking it — the kids love it, and I’ve been happily sipping it morning, noon, and night.

Because it’s naturally caffeine-free, it’s such an easy way to stay hydrated while also supporting the body with deeply nourishing herbs traditionally used throughout pregnancy and postpartum preparation.

What’s Inside In Bloom

Our In Bloom Nutritive Pregnancy Tea was thoughtfully crafted to offer gentle, nourishing herbal support during pregnancy and beyond.

The blend includes:

  • Red raspberry leaf

  • Nettle leaf

  • Rosehips

  • Oatstraw

  • Alfalfa

  • Spearmint

  • And a few special rose petals for energetics

Together, these herbs create a mineral-rich tonic tea traditionally enjoyed to help nourish the nervous system, support overall wellness during pregnancy, and gently prepare the body for postpartum recovery.

The flavour is soft, grounding, slightly minty, and beautifully balanced — equally lovely warm or iced.

Our Favourite Iced In Bloom Recipe

You’ll Need:

  • 4 tbsp In Bloom Tea

  • 4 cups hot water

  • 1–2 tbsp honey (or to taste)

  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon

  • Ice

Method:

Steep the tea covered for 20–30 minutes to create a strong infusion. Strain, then stir in honey while warm. Allow to cool, then add fresh lemon juice and pour over ice.

Store in the fridge and enjoy throughout the day.

Simple, nourishing, and genuinely so refreshing.

Thank you again for being here through all the quieter seasons.

This community means more than you know, and while life may look a little slower or softer around here at times, Wild Alchemy continues to grow and evolve right alongside our family.

With gratitude,
