Our Story

Wild Alchemy Botanicals was born from the personal healing journey of a new mom searching for balance, self-care, and a way to reclaim her spark in the midst of motherhood.

Our founder, Jessica, was born in Toronto, Ontario and has a background in Holistic Nutrition and Event Planning. Her love for working with plants, combined with a deep calling for a more nature-connected life, and true love, led her to move West to Vancouver Island, BC. She homesteads with her partner, three boys and more than a few furried and feathered friends!

Her path was deeply influenced by a gifted mentor, Tina, founder of By The Sea Apothecary—an experienced Aromatherapist and student of Ayurveda who shared a wealth of knowledge about the sacred art of plants and their medicines. Through this mentorship, Jessica deepened her understanding of the healing properties of botanicals and how to integrate them into everyday life. When the Apothecary closed its doors in 2023, Jessica was determined to preserve its incredible offerings. This passion led her to continue its legacy through Wild Alchemy Botanicals, ensuring that others could still access its wisdom and support their own wellness journeys.

The MamaCare line was born from our founder’s own journey through motherhood, alongside a heartfelt partnership with her dear friend, herbalist, and midwife to all three of her children, Beth Ebers. With a deep love and reverence for the wisdom of plants, these products were created to nurture and support mamas and mamas-to-be, honouring the ancient, healing power of nature’s botanicals.

What began as a personal quest for healing became the foundation for Wild Alchemy Botanicals, a brand dedicated to helping others find peace, balance, and nourishment through the alchemy of plants.
